Buddy Franklin's daughter Tullulah Franklin was born in 2020. The firstborn of the Sydney Swans forward was seen cheering on her father in Melbourne on Friday during a pre-Grand Final Parade.

The Sydney Swans had their pre-grand final parade in Melbourne on Friday before they play against Geelong in Saturday's AFL final.

The two-year-old waved to her father enthusiastically as her dad was driven past her. Tallulah attended the parade with her maternal grandmother, mother, and her younger brother Rock.

On Saturday, Buddy Franklin will play his sixth grand final and could win his first premiership with the Sydney-based club.

His first two premiership titles came with his former side Hawthorn, and now on Saturday, he could be rewarded with the trophy that he has been longing for the last nine years.

Swans Buddy Franklin's daughter, Tullulah Franklin, caught everyone's attention during the pre-Grand Final parade.

The two-year-old daughter of Buddy Franklin wore a replica Sydney Swans guernsey, which had daddy written on the back. She was carried by her maternal grandmother Valerie Campbell with her mother, Jesinta Franklin, beside her.

Tallulah Franklin is the firstborn of her parents, Buddy Franklin and Jestina Franklin. She has a little brother in Rock Franklin who is a year old.

Rock was also present in the parade and was held by his mother and later taken by his father, Buddy, in his arms.

They tied the knot in 2016 and had their first daughter, Tulluah, in February 2020. Jesinta had previously shared a video of her daughter Tullulah riding her scooter on Boxing Day of 2021.

Jesinta rarely shows her daughter to the world, and seeing Tullulah Franklin in the parade yesterday delighted many fans of the Sydney star player.

1. Buddy Franklin Parents, Lance Franklin Sr And Ursula Franklin Are Of Indigenous Heritage

Buddy Franklin was born to parents Lance Franklin Sr and Ursula Franklin in 1987. The forward was raised along with his five siblings in Perth, Western Australia.

Buddy Franklin's father, Lance Franklin Sr, is a former field hockey player and one of the biggest supporters of his son. In his 2018 interview with the Daily, Telegraph, Buddy said he was named after his father and talked a bit about his childhood.

He said his father would paint goal sticks on the big shed of their farm, and he would spend countless hours practicing kicking the ball against the shed.

Buddy's mother, Ursula Franklin, is a Kickett who comes from indigenous football royalty. The footballer has his father and his mother tattooed on his right arm.

Franklin had moved with his parents and three older siblings to the small town of Dowerin and, for a time, lost touch with his mother's family.

His father, Lance Franklin Sr, was spotted arriving at his house on 26 March to celebrate the 1000th career goal of his son. His son might have achieved legendary status in Australian football, but the old man stays humble about his son's success.

2. Buddy Franklin Was Raised With Four Sisters

Buddy Franklin was raised with four sisters, out of whom three were older than him and one younger.

He says that his sister supported him throughout his football journey and childhood. When he would be called from being an indigenous kid, his sisters would stand up to defend him.

One of his older sisters, Bianca Giteau, is a former netball player who, from 2003-2005, competed for the Melbourne Kestrels netball team.

She began her career in 2004 with the Australian U-21 squad, progressed to the senior team, and played for West Coast Fever in the ANZ championship.

In 2003, Bianca won the ATSIC award for West Australian Young Achiever of the Year and was nominated for the Female Sportsperson of the Year in 2006.

3. Has Buddy Franklin Won Brownlow Medal?

The only honor that the Sydney Swan footballer is missing is the Brownlow Medal to his swelling trophy cabinet.

He came close to winning the honor in 2014 when he and Gary Ablett Jr finished equal second with 22 votes behind the winner Matt Priddis on 26.

If Buddy Franklin had won the honor that year, he would have been the first-ever player to win the Coleman and Brownlow medals the same year.

Nonetheless, the forward's cabinet is decorated with two premierships, two Coleman Medal, and a Peter Crimmins Medal, which the player won during his time at Hawthorn. 

4. When Did Buddy Franklin Leave Hawthorn?

Buddy Franklin left Hawthorn after nine seasons in 2013. The forward said he left Hawthorn to chase more premiership titles. 

On the day of his move, Buddy was joined by his family and friend as he was paraded in a red jersey. 

Franklin said it was a tough decision to leave Hawthorn and claimed that he still loved the club. At the time Buddy did say that he was excited by the prospect of playing beside his idol Adam Goodes, which was also one of the reasons for his move.

In the 2013 interview, the forward said he loved his Hawthorn teammates to bits and walks away from the club being proud of what he did for the football club.

It's a shame that the two premierships he won were both with Hawthorn and has failed to win one with Sydney Swans.

Buddy Franklin wears his indigenous culture on his sleeve, and we are saying that literally.

There is a tattoo of an aboriginal leader on his left arm, and he has a random collection of images he found at a library.

His mother, Ursula Franklin, comes from indigenous football history, and the player had previously worn an indigenous guernsey when his team, Swans, faced North Melbourne in 2016.

During his school days, Buddy Franklin used to be bullied for his indigenous roots, but now the man is an inspiration for many young footballers all over Australia and the world.

At Sydney, he was nurtured by indigenous leaders Chance Bateman and Shaun Burgoyne. And when asked if he thinks his club Sydney had done enough for indigenous players, he said that his club had been fantastic in supporting its indigenous players.
